The Bears have claimed tight end Chris Pantale off waivers from the Jets, the team announced on Tuesday. Pantale was waived by New York in the offseason after one season. He appeared in five games, mostly on special teams. He had one kickoff return for 24 yards.

Edds. Linebacker Antwan Barnes has been placed on the PUP list.
