After a year out of football, Shaughnessy will reportedly sign with the Saints, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports. Shaughnessy last played for the Cardinals in the 2014 season. It is currently unclear what type of role the veteran OLB will have with the Saints. At just 29-years-old, Shaughnessy should enough gas left in tank to compete for a roster spot.
