Reuland was released by the Colts on Monday. Reuland failed to stand out from the crowd this preseason. He had one reception for 10 yards through three games, as he couldn't beat out the likes of Jack Doyle, Erik Swoope, or Chase Coffman for playing time. The journeyman, who's been on five teams in five years, will look to further his NFL career elsewhere.
The Ravens withdrew their exclusive rights tender to Reuland on Tuesday. With the Ravens boasting impressive depth at tight end, the 29-year-old Reuland wouldn't have had a real shot to make the final roster. He only has 12 receptions in his career and will now look to catch on elsewhere.
Reuland was signed by the Ravens on Tuesday. With Baltimore's top three tight ends either injured or suspended, Reuland and Richard Gordon were both added to the roster Tuesday afternoon. It's unlikely either has a major role in Week 14, as the team expects Maxx Williams (concussion) and/or Crockett Gillmore (back) to be ready.
The Colts signed running back/return specialist Jeff Demps and tight end Konrad Reuland to the practice squad Tuesday, the team announced. The team released quarterback Dominique Davis and wide receiver Chandler Jones to make room for the new additions.
Jets backup tight end Konrad Reuland will require surgery to repair what Rex Ryan described as a "stretched" ACL.
