Gragg's teammate Charles Clay (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Washington. That makes Gragg the starter for this week's game in Washington, and with only the unproven Nick O'Leary behind him, Gragg should see the field most of the afternoon. That said, other than a 5-54-0 game earlier this season, Gragg has only caught more than one pass on one other occasion, and is yet to find the end zone. Keep an eye on him to see if the Bills want to see what he can do down the stretch, but he'd be a deep reach for Week 15.
Gragg replaced an injured Charles Clay in most sets Sunday during the loss to Philadelphia. He finished with one catch for 11 yards on two targets. Gragg is the presumed starter if Clay's injury lingers into the Week 15 contest at Washington, but considering he's yet to score a touchdown this season and has just nine catches, it'd be nearly impossible to rely on Gragg just yet.
The following players have been deemed inactive for the Bills in Week 17 against the Patriots: Stephon Gilmore, Bryce Brown, Randell Johnson, Cyrus Kouandjio, Marquise Goodwin, Chris Gragg and Marcell Dareus. Dareus was listed as out after Friday's practice. He finishes his season with 48 total tackles and 10 sacks for the Bills.
The Bills have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 16 game against the Raiders: running back Bryce Brown, cornerback Ross Cockrell, linebackers Larry Dean and Randell Johnson, tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, wide receiver Deonte Thompson and tight end Chris Gragg (knee). The only player on the inactive list dealing with an injury is reserve tight end Gragg, who was listed as probable, leaving the Bills as one of the healthier teams in the league heading into Week 16. They are a 6 1/2-point favorite in Sunday's road matchup with the Raiders.
The Bills listed the following players as probable for Sunday's game at Oakland: Dan Carpenter, Anthony Dixon, Stephon Gilmore, Chris Gragg, Da'Norris Searcy, C.J. Spiller, Marcus Thigpen, Duke Williams and Jarius Wynn. The Bills did not have any players listed as questionable, doubtful or out. The Bills are listed as 6 1/2-point favorites.
