The Redskins announced linebacker Ja'Gared Davis has been signed from the Chiefs' practice squad to the Redskins' 53-man roster. The team also promoted linebacker Trevardo Williams from the practice squad to the active roster. Other roster moves the team announced included waiving Steve Beauharnais, Everette Brown and Greg Ducre.
The Cardinals have waived defensive back Todd Washington to make room on the roster for linebacker Trevardo Williams. Williams was cut Friday by the Texans. He has yet to take a snap in the NFL.

The Texans announced Monday that linebacker Brian Cushing, rookie defensive tackle Louis Nix and linebacker Trevardo Williams would begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. They are allowed to come off the list at any time between now and the start of the regular season. Cushing is coming back from a torn knee ligament and a broken fibula. Head coach Bill O'Brien is unsure when exactly he'll return to practice. Nix has a meniscus injury he's dealing with. Williams was placed on IR before last season with an injury.
The Texans finalized their 53-man roster Saturday by placing receiver Alan Bonner (hamstring), tackle Brennan Williams (knee), and linebacker Trevardo Williams (knee) on injured reserve. Houston also released defensive lineman Daniel Muir, defensive tackle David Hunter and receiver Michael Smith with an injury settlement.In addition, the Texans waived the following 18 players from the roster: defensive end Keith Browner, tight end Jake Byrne, cornerback Roc Carmichael, fullback Tyler Clutts, linebacker Cameron Collins, receiver Andy Cruse, offensive lineman Tyler Horn, defensive end Delano Johnson, running back Dennis Johnson, safety Orhian Johnson, defensive tackle Chris Jones, running back Deji Karim, offensive lineman Alex Kupper, cornerback Elbert Mack, tackle Nate Menkin, linebacker Mike Mohamed, receiver Uzoma Nwachukwu and safety Jawanza Starling.
