Toler suffered a concussion in Monday's loss to the Panthers, Mike Jones of The Washington Post reports. Toler replaced Quinton Dunbar after the latter suffered a concussion in the third quarter. Toler then suffered a concussion himself, leaving Kendall Fuller to take over as the team's third cornerback. If Toler or Dunbar is unable to play this Saturday against the Bears, Fuller will likely continue to see an increased role.
Washington and Toler agreed to a one-year contract Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Toler's tackle total each season has wobbled throughout his six-year career, but after recording at least one interception in each of his first five campaigns, he failed to pick off a pass in 2015. With Chris Culliver recovering from a torn ACL and MCL, Washington has brought Toler and Will Blackmon into the fold this offseason, likely to compete for the starting cornerback gig opposite Bashaud Breeland. As a result, Toler could return to IDP relevance with an impressive preseason.
Toler (knee) is inactive Sunday against Houston. Toler missed last week's game and was unable to log a full practice this week, which will ultimately hold him out of the big divisional matchup.
Toler (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans. Toler was limited in practice both Thursday and Friday, after missing last weekend's blowout loss to the Jaguars. As a result, the Colts will surely hope Toler is available for this weekend's divisional contest, but at the moment, his status is unclear.
Toler (knee) is inactive against Jacksonville, Bob Kravitz of WTHR TV reports. With Toler out, Jalil Brown will start at cornerback opposite Vontae Davis.
