Linebacker Reggie Walker is all right with doing whatever the Broncos coaching staff asks of him. Walker, in an interview with DenverBroncos.com, said one of his biggest assets as a football player is the ability to play multiple positions as a linebacker. However, his primary position is at inside linebacker. "I've had to play in multiple positions throughout my football career; I can do a lot," Walker said. "I think I can do a lot very well. Hopefully I can come out here and show that and I'm going to be ready to compete." Walker will earn his pay check on special teams. That was a role he played with the Chargers and one the Broncos will rely on him for as well. "Special teams is all a mindset," Walker said. "It's all just about who's willing to work harder and I'm going to work as hard as I can so I'll be great at it."
Linebacker Reggie Walker is signing a one-year deal with the Broncos, according to his agent, David Canter. After playing his first four seasons with the Cardinals, Walker has been a member of the Chargers for the last two years. The 28-year-old has compiled 98 total tackles, 3.5 sacks and one forced fumble in six years of NFL play.
The Chargers have released linebacker Reggie Walker on Friday, according to Michael Gehlken of U-T San Diego. The move saves San Diego roughly $1 million against the cap. Walker, 28, signed a two-year deal with the club last offseason and registered 12 tackles and 1/2 a sack as a reserve in 2014.
The Chargers declared safety Jahleel Addae (concussion), running back Ronnie Brown, nose tackle Ryan Carrethers (elbow), receiver Dontrelle Inman, center Rich Ohrnberger (back, ankle), nose tackle Damion Square and linebacker Reggie Walker inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams.
The Chargers have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 11 matchup with the Raiders: safety Jahleel Addae (concussion), nose tackles Sean Lissemore (quad) and Damion Square, wide receiver Dontrelle Inman, running back Ronnie Brown, cornerback Richard Crawford and linebacker Reggie Walker. Addae is inactive after being listed as questionable on the team's final injury report Friday. Lissemore was doubtful to play in Week 11. The team will have all six players listed as probable available against the Raiders, including running back Ryan Mathews (knee), wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu (not injury related), center Rich Ohrnberger (back) and linebackers Manti Te'o (foot), Dwight Freeney (not injury related) and Jeremiah Attaochu (hamstring).
