The Ravens announced cornerback Danny Gorrer has been placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Gorrer injured his knee during Week 14's win at Miami and he becomes the fourth Ravens' cornerback to be placed on IR.
With four cornerbacks out for the season, sources have indicated the Ravens will sign cornerback Antonie Cason, reports Yahoo Sports. To make room for Cason, the Ravens are expected to place cornerback Danny Gorrer on IR, reports the Baltimore Sun. Cason has appeared in 12 games for the Panthers this season, but was waived Dec. 2. The Ravens will host the Jaguars Week 15.

While Gorrer didn't tear his ACL, the knee damage was significant enough for him to be placed on injured reserve, which is expected to happen in the coming days. He was carted off the field after sustaining the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 14 win over the Dolphins.
