Robinson concluded his 2015 season with 67 rushing attempts for 266 yards and 21 receptions for 164 yards. Robinson reached the end zone four times in 2014, but he found paydirt only once this season, scoring a touchdown during the Jaguars 51-16 Week 14 rout of the Colts. With rookie T.J. Yeldon firmly entrenched as the starter, Robinson was relegated to backup duty for much of the year, though he filled in for Yeldon (knee) down the stretch, notching 28 combined carries for 116 yards in Weeks 14 and 15. Looking ahead, Yeldon figures to return as the unquestioned No. 1 back in 2016, so Robinson will battle for an RB2 role, and the team will likely bring in some competition via free agency or the draft.
Robinson rushed for nine yards on five carries in Sunday's loss to the Texans. Robinson has had an interesting last month. After collecting at least 70 yards in his previous three games, Robinson was a limited factor in Week 17 with the Jaguars giving Jonas Gray a larger load. Robinson averaged a measly 2.8 yards per carry in the final three games of the season with T.J. Yeldon out of the lineup. He showed little that would indicate that he could challenge Yeldon for carries in 2016, but the 11 catches for 96 yards he collected during the same stretch may lead to a niche as a pass-catching, change-of-pace back.
Robinson (foot) had six carries for 20 yards and caught all five of his targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 38-27 loss at New Orleans. Robinson struggled as a rusher last week against Atlanta, and that carried over into Sunday, although the lopsided score had something to do with his low carry total. He's been involved as a pass catcher, however, with 13 grabs for 97 yards over the last two weeks. It remains to be seen if T.J. Yeldon (knee) will be able to play next week at Houston, so keep checking back if you're a Robinson owner.
Robinson (foot) is listed as active and starting Sunday's game against the Saints. With T.J. Yeldon inactive, Robinson, who logged 14 carries for 41 yards in Week 15's loss to the Falcons, is in line to head the Jags' backfield once again Sunday, this time against a porous Saints defense that is allowing a league-high average of 137.1 rushing yards per game to date.
Robinson (foot) was a full participant at Friday's practice and is listed as probable for Sunday's matchup with New Orleans. Robinson had been nursing a minor thigh injury, but he was a full participant throughout the week and is in line to again serve as the Jaguars' No. 1 back Sunday with T.J. Yeldon (knee) doubtful. Robinson struggled on the ground last week against Atlanta, gaining just 28 yards on 14 carries, but he added 46 yards on eight receptions.
