Cyprien will sign with the Titans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Cyprien has never recorded less than 100 tackles in his NFL career thus far, and while he struggles sometimes in pass coverage, he is nevertheless a very talented player who should provide a boost to Tennessee's defense. It will be interesting to see if Titans defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau utilizes Cyprien in a similar fashion to the way he deployed fellow strong safety Troy Polamalu during Lebeau's prosperous stint in Pittsburgh.
Cyprien forced a fumble while collecting 17 tackles in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. Cyprien is on fire, as he's posted 31 tackles over his last two games after not having more than 12 in any other game this season. As a safety, he's looking like a fantastic waiver wire add in IDP leagues if he's still available.
Cyprien forced a fumble while piling up 14 tackles in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. Cyprien posted at least nine tackles for the fifth time this season, and he's only had fewer than five on two occasions. As a safety, his ability to have games with big tackle totals makes him a high-upside option in IDP leagues.
Cyprien recorded 12 tackles in Week 8 against the Titans. Cyprien has now recorded at least 11 tackles in two straight weeks, and he also has posted at least nine tackles four times this season. Despite his solid performances he's also had three games with seven or fewer tackles, but as a safety, his solid tackle numbers make him a solid IDP option.
Cyprien had 11 stops Sunday against the Raiders. Cyprien has now recorded at least nine tackles in three different games, and he's averaging eight stops per contest on the year. Although he's failed to record a sack or interception, his tackle numbers make him a viable option as a defensive back in IDP leagues.
