The Colts signed defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles to their practice squad after waiving him Monday, reports the National Football Post.
The Colts announced they re-signed linebacker Victor Butler and waived defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles Monday. After recording three tackles over two games for the Colts this season, Butler was waived Nov. 18. Quarles has played in one game this season and notched one sack.
The Colts declared cornerback Greg Toler (concussion), tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle), right tackle Gosder Cherilus (shoulder), offensive lineman Lance Louis, center Khaled Holmes, defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles and defensive tackle Zach Kerr inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Toler, Allen and Cherilus normally start for Indy. With Allen sidelined, Coby Fleener figures to be a major part of the passing game.
The Colts have listed the collowing players as inactive for Sunday night's matchup with the Patriots: linebackers Henoc Muamba (toe) and Victor Butler (hamstring), defensive linemen Arthur Jones (ankle) and Kelcy Quarles, guard Lance Louis, center Khaled Holmes and offensive tackle Xavier Nixon. Jones had already been ruled out on the Friday injury report, while Muamba and Butler were two of the team's four linebackers to be listed as probable. Linebackers Josh McNary (ankle) and Erik Walden (quad) are active after earning probable tags, as is Reggie Wayne, who was on the injury report with a non-injury-related issue. Also active is offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus, who was listed as questionable to play with a groin injury.
