The Buccaneers have list the following players as inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers: wide receivers Robert Herron and Solomon Patton, running back Mike James, cornerback Isaiah Frey, tackle Anthony Collins, defensive lineman Lawrence Sidbury, and tight end/fullback Evan Rodriguez.
Quarterback Jordan Palmer and veteran punter Brian Moorman are the two most significant cuts announced by the Bills on Friday. Palmer was let go three days after his signing. He had been cut by Chicago on Tuesday. He has only played in five regular season games in five years. Moorman has been booting for the Bills as the No. 1 punter 2001, aside from one season with Dallas. The other cuts are linebacker Xavius Boyd, defensive tackle Landon Cohen, tight end Dominique Jones, cornerbacks Kamaal McIlwain and Sam Miller, fullback Evan Rodriguez, wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt and center Jared Wheeler.
The Bills announced Monday they signed fullback Evan Rodriguez to the 53-man roster. Rodriguez has been a free agent since being released by Miami before the start of the season.
The Dolphins claimed fullback/tight end Evan Rodriguez off waivers from the Bears. Rodriguez was cut following a pair of offseason arrests.
The Bears have signed receivers Devin Aromashodu and Jerrell Jackson as well as fullback Tony Fiammetta. To make room for them they waived WR Demetrius Fields, WR Dale Moss and FB Evan Rodriguez.
