The Cowboys have re-signed fullback Tyler Clutts, the team announced. Clutts joined the team late in 2013 and was the Cowboys' only fullback during the 2014 season. After his contract expired, the Cowboys brought in Jed Collins, who spent last year with the Lions. By bringing Clutts back, the Cowboys released Collins. Clutts will likely be Dallas' starting fullback again. Clutts caught his first NFL touchdown pass in the playoffs during Dallas' loss to the Packers.
Cowboys fullback Tyler Clutts had one catch for one yard and a touchdown in Dallas' 26-21 loss to the Packers in the divisional round of the playoffs Sunday. Quarterback Tony Romo faked the run to DeMarco Murray on the goal line and then found Clutts in the flat open for the score. For Clutts, who is in his fourth season, it was his first career touchdown. Clutts had 10 catches for 53 yards coming into Sunday's contest. He had one catch for one yard total in 2014 with the Cowboys.
In their Week 6 win in Seattle, the Cowboys got contributions from several role players. No. 2 tight end Gavin Escobar hauled in a 2-yard touchdown catch on his two targets. Receiver Cole Beasley caught one of two targets for 11 yards, and fullback Tyler Clutts had a 1-yard reception.

The Cowboys signed fullback Tyler Clutts to take running back Lance Dunbar's roster spot. Dunbar is out for the season with a knee injury.
