The Chiefs are bringing back three players from the 2014 team. On Friday, the organization announced that they have re-signed receiver Jason Avant, tight end Richard Gordon and safety Kelcie McCray. Avant was picked up by the Chiefs during the 2014 season after the Panthers released him during the season. With both teams, Avant accounted for 353 yards and a touchdown. Gordon spent time with both the Titans and the Chiefs last season and did not record any offensive stats. McCray played in all 16 games for the Chiefs a year ago and recorded 11 tackles.
The Chiefs report more healthy scratches than injured players on their Sunday injury report. The three who are ailing are wideout Donnie Avery (groin), cornerback Phillip Gaines (concussion) and defensive end Allen Bailey (concussion). The healthy scratches are quarterback Aaron Murray, offensive linemen Eric Kush and Laurent Duvarnay-Tardif and tight end Richard Gordon.
The Chiefs ruled tight end defensive end Allen Bailey (concussion), wideout Junior Hemingway (concussion), cornerback Jamell Fleming (hamstring) tight end Richard Gordon, quarterback Aaron Murray, center Eric Kush and offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif inactive for the game at Arizona.
The Chiefs announced they waived tight end Phillip Supernaw and signed tight end Richard Gordon.
The following players have been ruled as inactive for the Titans in Week 12 against the Eagles: quarterback Charlie Whitehurst, wide receiver Kris Durham, cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson, defensive back Marqueston Huff, tackle Will Svitek, tight end Richard Gordon, defensive end Ropati Pitoitua.
