Vikings safety Mistral Raymond has cleared waivers and reverted to the injured reserve, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. The safety suffered a concussion in the preseason opener.
The Vikings released safety Brandan Bishop, offensive tackles Kevin Murphy and Pierce Burton, defensive ends Jake Snyder and Tyler Scott, defensive tackle Kheeston Randall, receivers Kamar Jorden, Erik Lora and Andy Cruse, and cornerbacks Derek Cox and Robert Steeples. Minnesota also waived/injured safety Mistral Raymond, who suffered a concussion in the preseason opener.
Vikings defensive back Mistral Raymond was forced out of Friday's preseason opener against the Raiders in the first half with a possible concussion, the team announced. Raymond left the game in the final minute of the first quarter and was held out as a precaution. He will be further evaluated in the near future.
