Tight end Kyle Miller has been re-signed by the Chargers, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. Miller will provide more depth at tight end with Ladarius Green suffering concussion-like symptoms Wednesday and Antonio Gates out two more weeks due to suspension. It's unlikely Miller will find his way onto the field much with John Phillips and David Johnson ahead of him on the depth chart, however this move speaks to the concerns San Diego may have regarding Green's second concussion this month.
The loss of D.J. Fluker to injury has prompted the Chargers to sign fellow offensive lineman Kenny Wiggins and waive tight end Kyle Miller, the San Diego Union-Tribune has reported. Wiggins played the last two seasons with San Diego. Miller, who was claimed in the spring, has played in just two NFL games over five seasons. He has yet to catch a pass.
