Rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins has been deemed probable by the Bills for the Sunday game against San Diego. He has practiced in full all week with a rib injury. Also probable are defensive tackle Stefan Charles (hip), tight end Lee Smith (toe), guard Chris Williams (back) and wide receiver Robert Woods (ankle). Linebacker Randell Johnson (knee) and safety Jonathan Meeks (neck) have been ruled out while linebacker Keith Rivers (groin) has been deemed doubtful.
The Bills signed former Vikings linebacker Larry Dean and placed safety Jonathan Meeks (neck) on injured reserve, reports the Buffalo News.
The Bills seven-player inactive list for Week 2 is as follows: defensive backs Ross Cockrell and Jonathan Meeks, running back Bryce Brown, linebacker Keith Rivers, tight end Lee Smith, and offensive linemen Cyril Richardson and Cyrus Kouandijo.
Bills defensive backs Aaron Williams (head) and Stephon Gilmore (groin) were able to play through their injuries Sunday against the Dolphins, but other members of the defense weren't so lucky. Linebacker Keith Rivers (groin) and defensive back Jonathan Meeks (neck) were both inactive for Week 2 with their injuries.
