The players released were free safety Brandan Bishop, tackle Reid Fragel, cornerback Jordan Mabin, linebacker Jacques Smith and running back Ronnie Wingo. None of the five had appeared in a game with the Falcons.
The Falcons have signed running back Ronnie Wingo to its offseason roster. He had been cut by the Bills before the season, then landed on the Atlanta practice squad.
The Bills released safeties Derek Brim and Jajuan Harley, quarterback Dennis Dixon, punter Jacob Dombrowski, receivers Tori Gurley and Chris Summers, guard J.J. Unga, running back Ronnie Wingo, kicker Dustin Hopkins, defensive tackle Damien Jacobs and center Macky MacPherson.
Quarterback EJ Manuel (knee) and wide receiver Steve Johnson (personal) headline the inactives released Sunday by the Bills. The others listed are offensive lineman Mark Asper and Antoine McClain, wideout Cordell Roberson defensive back Brandon Smith and running back Ronnie Wingo
