Lenz was signed to the Texans' practice squad following a workout for the team Monday, the Houston Chronicle reports. The Texans worked out three receivers Monday, looking for some insurance for injured wideouts Nate Washington (hamstring) and Cecil Shorts (shoulder).

The Colts waived/injured tackle Matt Hall and safety Delano Howell and placed linebacker Robert Mathis on the reserve/suspended list.
