Washington has been promoted to the Jaguars' 53-man roster. Washington gives the Jaguars some added wideout depth in advance of Saturday's game against the Titans, with Allen Hurns (hamstring) and Arrelious Benn (concussion) both banged up heading into Week 16.

Washington went down with hamstring earlier in the week which evidently will keep him sidelined for an extended amount of time. The Jaguars decided to instead part ways with the wideout instead of keeping him on the IR. The second-year man could hope to return to Jacksonville once completely healthy.
