The Ravens announced a several roster moves on Tuesday, per the team's official website. The team moved tackle Ricky Wagner to injured reserve, ending his season due to a foot injury he suffered Week 16 against Houston. In a corresponding move, Baltimore added defensive end Steven Means to the 53-man active roster. The Ravens also shuffled their practice squad, waiving defensive end Zach Thompson and signing tackle Nate Menkin and guard Joe Unga.
The Jets have cut their roster down to 53 by waiving a number of players. Those on offense are quarterback Tajh Boyd and Matt Simms, wide receivers Clyde Gates and Stephen Hill, running backs Daryl Richardson and Alex Green, tight end Chris Pantale, linemen Brent Qvale and Caleb Schlauderaff. The defenders imclude defensive backs Rontez Miles, Jeremy Reeves, Johnny Patrick, Dimitri Patterson and Brandon Dixon, linemen Zach Thompson, Kerry Hyder and Tevita Finau and linebackers Garrett McIntyre and A.J. Edds. Linebacker Antwan Barnes has been placed on the PUP list.
