The Bills are releasing pass-rushing linebacker Quentin Groves, a source has told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. Groves has just 9 1/2 sacks over seven seasons, but did play in every game for Buffalo in 2014, when he contributed to 18 tackles.
Titans quarterback Jake Locker was a full participant in practice Friday and will be probable for Week 8 against the Texans. Locker will likely serve as a backup to Zach Mettenberger on Sunday. Coty Sensabaugh (knee) and Taylor Thompson (knee) were labeled doubtful, while Quentin Groves (ankle) was deemed questionable. Meanwhile, Shonn Greene (hamstring) and Ropati Pitoitua (hand) were ruled probable, along with Locker.
