Mosley (calf) was waived/injured by Miami on Tuesday, reports the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley. The Dolphins have suffered a number of injuries to the defensive end position so the release of Mosley may have been a numbers game more than anything else.

The Dolphins will be his sixth team since he entered the NFL in 2005.

Mosley had 2.5 sacks for the Lions last season, but the team let him explore the market, after he was suspended for marijuana use last season. The Lions have also spoken to Mosley about a return to the team in recent weeks.
