The Lions will host free agent kick returner Brad Smith on a visit to the team on Tuesday, according to a report by the Detroit Free Press. Smith has played nine years with the Jets, Bills and Eagles. He has four kick return touchdowns in his career and also plays a key role on kick coverage.
Most of the Eagles who were probable on the injury report are active for Monday's game against the Panthers. The list includes center Jason Kelce (hernia), guard Evan Mathis (knee), safety Nate Allen (hamstring), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (calf) and wideout Brad Smith (groin).
The Eagles are expected to be without just one player in Monday night's Week 10 matchup with the Panthers. Quarterback Nick Foles (collarbone) has already been ruled out and will miss several weeks while recovering from his injury, but every other player on the team's injury report is probable to play Monday. That list includes wide receivers Brad Smith (groin) and Jeff Maehl (foot), offensive linemen Evan Mathis (knee) and Jason Kelce (hernia), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (calf) and defensive backs Nate Allen (hamstring) and Nolan Carroll (groin).
Safety Nate Allen (hamstring) and wide receiver Brad Smith (groin) are the lone injured inactives for the Eagles on Sunday in Houston. The healthy scratches are quarterback Matt Barkley, center Julian Vandervelde, tackle Dennis Kelly, linebacker Marcus Smith and defensive end Taylor Hart.
Wide receiver Brad Smith (groin) and safety Nate Allen (hamstring) are the lone Eagles deemed questionable for the Sunday game in Houston. Both practiced in full Friday. All the others on their injury report are probable. They are cornerback Brandon Boykin (hamstring), tight end Brent Celek (back), offensive linemen Todd Herremans (biceps) and Jason Kelce (hernia), linebackers Mychal Kendricks (calf) and DeMeco Ryans (groin), wide receiver Jeff Maehl (foot), running back Darren Sproles (knee) and cornerback Jaylen Watkins (wrist).
