The Redskins released 13 players Monday, according to The Baltimore Sun. The players included Ricky Sapp, Austin Spitler, Jerry Rice Jr, Thomas Wolfe, Kenny Okoro, Ty Nsekhe, Gabe Miller, Rishaw Johnson, Kenneth Horsley, Isaako Aaitui, Steve Beauharnais, Braylon Bell and Edawn Coughman.
The Ravens waived safety Omar Brown, linebackers Nick DiMarco and Austin Spitler, punter Richie Leone, offensive tackle David Mims, cornerbacks Marrio Norman and Deji Olatoye, receivers LaQuan Williams and Mike Willie and running back Cierre Wood. Fullback Shaun Chapas and offensive tackle Brett Van Sloten were waived with injury designations. Baltimore also placed defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore, guard Will Rackley and defensive end Brent Urban on injured reserve.
The Ravens made a series of roster moves Friday, the team announced. Baltimore signed linebacker Nicholas DiMarco, cornerback Dominique Franks, cornerback Aaron Ross, linebacker Austin Spitler and receiver Mike Willie. And the Ravens released linebacker Xavius Boyd, safety Dexter Moody and cornerback Avery Patterson.
Dolphins defensive back Dimitri Patterson (groin) headlined the team's injury report on the defensive side of the ball for Week 14 against the Steelers, and he was able to take the field in spite of the injury Sunday. Patterson is joined by defensive back Chris Clemons (knee, hamstring) and linebacker Austin Spitler (knee) as Dolphins defenders able to play through their injuries Sunday.
Three defensive players have been placed on the Friday injury report by the Dolphins as they prepare to play Pittsburgh on Sunday. Only cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin) is threatened with inactivity. Safety Chris Clemons (knee/hamstring) and linebacker Austin Spitler (knee) are both probable.
