Graham is inactive for Monday night's game against the Bengals. Graham is the odd man out Monday night, with fellow TE Ryan Griffin having been activated by the Texans for Week 10's contest.
Graham was targeted four times but did not have a reception in Sunday's 44-26 loss to the Dolphins. Graham's caught four of 18 targets for 30 yards through seven games and is losing playing time to C.J. Fiedorowicz. Houston's tight end position has been unproductive and largely ignored in the passing game.
Texans tight end Garrett Graham caught his only target for eight yards in Thursday night's loss to the Colts. On a night when Houston' quarterbacks dropped back 41 times, Graham was the target just once. His fellow tight end, C.J. Fiedorowicz, had just one target as well. The position is going under utilized in the passing game for a second straight season.
Texans tight end Garrett Graham caught one of his six targets for six yards in Sunday's 48-21 loss to the Falcons. The six targets are nice, but Graham has just 13 total (three catches) through four games. He's having a repeat of his 2014 season when he had just 18 catches in 11 games. To this point in the season, despite leading the league in passing attempts, Houston quarterbacks are not paying much attention to the tight ends. The one glimmer of hope is that Houston wideouts Nate Washington (hamstring) and Cecil Shorts (shoulder) suffered injuries and the Texans have a short week, playing Thursday night against Indianapolis. That might translate to more tight-end targeting.
Texans tight end Garrett Graham caught one of five targets for seven yards and a touchdown in Houston's loss to Carolina in Week 2. Graham was an afterthought in Houston's season-opening loss, but had a greater role this week when Ryan Griffin (knee) was unavailable.
