Bengals' Vincent Rey: Leaves with a knee injury

Rey left Sunday's game against the Bills with what appears to be a knee injury. He was helped off the field and then later carted to the locker room. This is potentially a big loss for the Bengals defense. Rey had stepped up in a big way recent for the Bengals, taking over the primary linebacker role for the injured Vontaze Burfict.

Bengals list nine players on final injury report

The Bengals listed nine players on their final injury report for Week 6 at home against Carolina. Outside of star receiver A.J. Green (toe) being questionable for Sunday, Vontaze Burfict (concussion) is the most notable name on the report. He was a full participant in practice all week after receiving clearance from team doctors and is listed as probable. He will need to be given the green light by an independent neurologist in order to play Sunday. Other probables include safety George Iloka (abdomen), linebacker Rey Maualuga (shoulder), offensive lineman Mike Pollak (knee) and linebacker Vincent Rey (calf). Outside of Green, wide receiver Marvin Jones (ankle), who missed practice all week, was the only other player deemed questionable on the list. Defensive tackle Brandon Thompson (knee) and guard Kevin Zeitler (calf) were both ruled doubtful for the home game.
