    Thomas DeCoud out for Panthers in Wild Card game against Cards

    Panthers starting defensive back Thomas DeCoud is inactive for Saturday's game against the Cardinals after battling a hamstring injury all week. DeCoud, who has 50 total tackles in 15 games with one interception, was considered doubtful on the team's final injury report of the week. Other inactives for Carolina include: James Dockery , A.J. Klein, Kyle Love , David Foucault, Amini Siatolu and Frank Alexander. The Panthers are 5 1/2-point favorites heading into the matchup.

    DeAngelo Williams among notable Panthers inactives

    The Panthers have ruled the following players as inactive for Week 17 against Atlanta: cornerback James Dockery. tackle David Foucault, linebacker A.J. Klein, safety Robert Lester, defensive tackle Kyle Love, guard Amini Silatolu, and running back DeAngelo Williams. Williams was listed as probable heading into Sunday's game with a hand injury. Coach Ron Rivera chose to keep him inactive and roll with the hot hand, Jonathan Stewart, in the starting lineup. If Carolina wins on Sunday, Williams can return to action in the postseason.

    Four ailing Panthers red-lighted in Week 16

    A quartet of injured Panthers have landed on their inactive list for the Sunday game against the Browns. Among them are running back DeAngelo Williams (hand), cornerback Carrington Byndom (hamstring), linebacker A.J. Klein (knee) and guard Amini Silatolu (knee). The healthy scratches are safety Robert Lester, defensive tackle Kyle Love and offensive tackle David Foucault.

    Panthers swap defensive tackles on Monday

    The Panthers announced a couple of roster moves following a Week 15 victory over the Buccaneers. The team waived defensive tackle Micanor Regis and signed defensive tackle Kyle Love, according to the Charlotte Observer. Love started 24 games for the Patriots from 2011-12.

    Chiefs pare roster down to 53

    The Chiefs have announced their final round of cuts and other moves to reach the league-mandated roster of 53 players. Among the offensive players let go are fullback Jordan Campbell, wide receivers Fred Williams and Mark Harrison, guard Ricky Henry, tackle J'Marcus Webb and running back Charcandrick West. The defensive players gone from the roster are safeties Jonathon Amaya and Malcolm Bronson, linemen Dominique Hamilton, Kyle Love and Kona Schwenke, linebackers Alonzo Highsmith, Devan Walker and Nico Johnson and cornerbacks Justin Rogers and DeMarcus Van Dyke . The Chiefs have also placed Tyler Bray and Kyle Williams on IR and Mike Catapano on the non-football injury list.

    Chiefs bring back Kyle Love

    The Chiefs signed veteran defensive tackle Kyle Love, reports Pro Football Talk. Love played one game for Kansas City last season before being cut and latching on with the Jaguars. He started 25 games for the Patriots from 2010-12, recording 65 tackles and 5.5 sacks in those seasons.

    Chiefs inactives Week 13

    The Chiefs have made C Eric Kush, LB Justin Houston, DL Kyle Love, LB Nico Johnson, OG Rishaw Johnson, OG Rokevious Watkins and QB Tyler Bray inactive Week 13 against the Broncos. Houston is dealing with an elbow injury, and was unable to practice all week. He was ruled out Friday.
