Panthers let James Dockery leave for Raiders
The Panthers decided not to re-sign free-agent cornerback James Dockery. Pending a physical, Dockery will sign with the Raiders, according to a report by ESPN's David Newton. Dockery posted a message to his former team and city on his Instagram account. "Now that I'm officially taking my career to a new city," Dockery wrote. "Before I sign that dotted line I just want to thank the City of Charlotte, Panthers Organization, and all my former Panther teammates. It's truly been an amazing opportunity to play for the City and Team. I'll never forget the opportunity Carolina gave me to prove I belong in this league. I truly made some great friends, some that I believe will last forever. I'll always remember to #KeepPounding in both life and football. Thank you for everything! #Trey1" Dockery had 11 tackles in seven games for the Panthers last year.

Report: Raiders to sign CB James Dockery
The Raiders are expected to sign cornerback James Dockery on Friday, according to ESPN. Dockery, 26, has played in 31 games throughout his career. He most recently spent the last three seasons with the Panthers. His career numbers include 39 total tackles and one pass defensed.

Panthers list inactives for Divisional Round
The Panthers have listed Frank Alexander, James Dockery, David Foucault, A.J. Klein, Robert Lester, Star Lotulelei and Amini Silatolu as inactive against the Seahawks. Lotulelei was the only player ruled out prior to Saturday. Klein was listed as questionable coming into the game due to an ankle issue. The other five players listed as considered healthy scratches.

DeCoud, who has 50 total tackles in 15 games with one interception, was considered doubtful on the team's final injury report of the week. Other inactives for Carolina include: James Dockery , A.J.
