    Steelers' Cameron Heyward: Eight tackles in win

    Heyward totaled eight tackles (six solo) in the Steelers' 38-35 win against the Raiders on Sunday. The eight tackles were the most in a game for Heyward this season, and his best effort since a 10-tackle game in Week 14 of the 2013 season. Although he, and the rest of the defense, failed to add to their sack total, they did force five fumbles, recovering three, and have one interception. They rank seventh in the league both in takeaways (15) and turnover differential (4).

    Steelers' Cameron Heyward: Blocked field goal on Sunday

    Heyward recorded three tackles (one solo) in Pittsburgh's Week 8 loss to Cincinnati. Heyward blocked Mike Nugent's 42-yard field goal try late in the third quarter to temporarily preserve the Steelers' slim lead. It was the second block of his career, and the first by a Steeler since his block against these same Bengals in Week 13 of the 2011 season.
