    Roy Miller placed on IR by Jaguars

    The Jaguars have placed defensive tackles Brandon Deaderick and Roy Miller on IR with a shoulder injury that had him sidelined Sunday against Tennessee. They signed defensive tackles Kyle Love and Drake Nevis to take their place on the roster.

    Chargers make roster change Tuesday

    Cornerback Crezdon Butler has finally found a home after having been one of the final preseason cuts by Buffalo. He has been signed by the Chargers. Butler, who appeared to be in the mix for a starting job with the Bills earlier in camp, has not started an NFL game. But he has taken 19 snaps for Washington and Buffalo. The Chargers released defensive lineman Drake Nevis to make room for Butler Tuesday.

    Colts move toward 53-man roster

    Only first-rounder Anthony Castonzo remains from the 2011 draft by the Colts. That's because they waived second-round tackle Ben Ijalana and third-round defensive tackle Drake Nevis on Saturday, according to NBC Sports. The following is a list of their other cuts: linebackers Monte Simmons and Daniel Adongo, safety Larry Asante, center Thomas Austin, cornerback Marshay Green, defensive end Lawrence Guy, quarterback Chandler Harnish, fullback Robert Hughes, tight end Dominique Jones, wide receivers Lanear Sampson, Jabin Sambrano and Jeremy Kelley, tackles Lee Ziemba and Bradley Sowell and nose tackle Martin Tevaseu.
