    Bills sign Jerome Felton to four-year deal

    The Bills announced Wednesday that the team has signed fullback Jerome Felton. The signing comes on the heels of the Bills' acquisition of LeSean McCoy to serve as the team's lead running back. "I got to meet LeSean Tuesday and we hit it off right off the bat," Felton said, per the team's website. "We're going to have a good year and I told him life is going to get easier for him. We're both excited about it. I played with another great running back in Minnesota and LeSean is cut from the same cloth so I'm looking forward to it." Felton's four-year deal is set to pay him $9.2 million, and the fullback will receive $4 million in guaranteed money, per He'll count $1.75 million against the cap in 2015.

    Vikings wideout Cordarrelle Patterson got the green light Week 15 against the Lions. Patterson entered the contest listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury. He was not listed on the injury report on Wednesday or Thursday, but was limited in practice on Friday due to the issue. He'll attempt to play through it against Detroit. The team will also have Jerome Felton, Everson Griffen, Jabari Price and Harrison Smith. All four players were listed as probable heading into the game.

    Vikings backup rushers manage little Week 11

    The Vikings backup rushers didn't do much Week 11 against the Bears. Free safety Andrew Sendejo actually did make a difference, leading the team in rushing. He gained 48 yards on a fake punt. It was his only rush of the game. Jerome Felton got one carry, gaining 3 yards. Matt Asiata also had one carry, but gained 2 yards. Asiata also had three receptions for 12 yards. They'll look for more Week 12 against the Packers.

    Vikings players open to Adrian Peterson returning in 2014

    While it is uncertain if running back Adrian Peterson will rejoin the Vikings roster this season, fullback Jerome Felton and running back Jerick McKinnon would welcome Peterson back to the team. The duo have stayed in touch with Peterson, who is away from the team while he deals with child abuse allegations. "I think we'd be happy to have him back," McKinnon said, per ESPN. "He's a leader on this team. He's done a lot for this team, this organization, over the past years. I think it'd be good for the team, having his leadership back, and of course his ability and talent and everything he can do as well." Felton said he has traded text messages with Peterson several times since he has been away from the team. "He's staying strong. He's doing as good as he can, despite the circumstances. I just showed him my support," Felton said. "He's one of the top five players in the world. That would be exciting if we could get him back."

    Vikings running back Jerome Felton received two carries Week 7. Felton did well with his limited work, picking up 21 rushing yards on just two attempts. He was not targeted in the passing game. Felton will look for more Week 8 against the Buccaneers.
