    Colts release expansive injury list

Colts inside linebacker Pat Angerer has been listed as doubtful for the season opener with a concussion, the team has announced. Backup inside linebacker Kavell Conner (ankle) is out while defensive end Fili Moala (foot) and wide receiver David Reed (head) are both questionable. Listed as probable on the injury report are running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo (knee), tight end Coby Fleener (knee), inside linebacker Mario Harvey (knee), safety Joe Lefeged (knee) and offensive lineman Mike McGlynn (knee).

  • Lefeged nets second interception

News: Colts DB Joe Lefeged had one solo tackle and a fourth-quarter interception against Baltimore in Week 14. "We were in cover-2 man coverage, and I was just reading the QB's eyes and I got a good break on the ball. It was a little bit overthrown, and I just made the play on it," Lefeged said.
Analysis: Lefeged has had to play more on defense the last few weeks because of injuries in the secondary. However, he still doesn't produce enough on a weekly basis to matter in Fantasy.
  • Lefeged becomes a relevant player

News: With Melvin Bullitt (shoulder) on injured reserve, it's expected Joe Lefeged will take over the starting strong safety duties for Indianapolis.
Analysis: Lefeged filled in admirably in Week 3 for Bullitt, totaling two tackles, one interception and two pass defenses. He is not a must-add Fantasy option, but if he continues to progress, then he might be worth adding in Fantasy IDP formats.
