    Vikings' Linval Joseph: Active Sunday

Joseph (foot) is active for Sunday's contest in Oakland, Ben Goessling of reports. Floyd may have difficulty matching his output from a week ago, when he was named NFL Defensive Player of the Week with 10 tackles (seven solo) and a half sack against the Rams. However, after his practice reps were somewhat limited during the week, he'll line up as one of the Vikings' defensive tackles.

Vikings' Linval Joseph: Probable to play in Oakland

Joseph (foot) is listed as probable for Sunday's game in Oakland. With Shariff Floyd (knee) expected to return from a three-game absence, the Vikings will have both of their starting defensive tackles for the first time since Week 6. Joseph had 10 tackles last week against the Rams, but he still has just 35 tackles and one-half sack in eight appearances this season.

Vikings' Linval Joseph: Limited in practice Wednesday

Joseph (foot) was limited in practice on Wednesday. Joseph received NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against the Rams last week. The severity of his foot injury is unclear, but it could just be the Viking's taking a precautionary standpoint. His status for Sunday will become more clear later in the week.

Vikings' Linval Joseph: Has ten tackles

Joseph had ten tackles, including three for loss, and half a sack in Sunday's win over St. Louis. Joseph has been a key run stuffer, but has started to accumulate more tackles. Head coach Mike Zimmer calls him perhaps the best nose tackle he's ever coached. Unfortunately that won't translate into fantasy value in most IDP formats.
