Chargers' Dontrelle Inman: Three catches against the Chiefs

Inman had three receptions on five targets for 51 yards in Sunday's loss versus the Chiefs. Inman and Javontee Herndon have been thrust into prominent roles in San Diego's passing attack with the injuries to Keenan Allen and Malcolm Floyd, and they have both played reasonably well. In this game, Inman's 51 receiving yards were second on the team to Stevie Johnson on a day when Philip Rivers and the entire offense struggle mightily. Look for Inman to put up some nice numbers next week against a beatable Jaguars secondary.

Chargers' Dontrelle Inman: Collects 10 yards against Baltimore

Inman caught one pass off of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to Baltimore. Inman has been buried a bit on San Diego's depth chart, appearing in just 43 percent of the team's offensive snaps in 2015, according to Pro Football Focus, and ranking eighth on the team in catches with nine. He may warrant monitoring, however, in the aftermath of Keenan Allen's season ending injury as each Chargers' receiver is likely to slide up a spot on the depth chart. Inman is likely to see the field in most three-wide sets and only the Texans have thrown the ball more times per game than San Diego this season.

Chargers' Dontrelle Inman: Hits pay dirt at Green Bay

Inman had three receptions (on seven targets) for 18 yards and a touchdown on Sunday at Green Bay. The Bolts threw the ball a ton on Sunday, so Inman was able to make a few plays, but he remains pretty low on the depth chart, even with Stevie Johnson injured. Keenan Allen, Malcom Floyd, Antonio Gates, and Ladarius Green all figure to get more looks than Inman every week, so consistent production cannot be assumed.

Chargers wide receiver Dontrelle Inman nets three catches Sunday

Chargers wide receiver Dontrelle Inman had three receptions on five targets for 88 yards in Sunday's win against the Browns after both Malcom Floyd and Stevie Johnson had to exit the game with injuries. Floyd suffered a concussion and Johnson pulled a hamstring in this game, leaving Keenan Allen and Inman the only two healthy wide receivers for the afternoon. Inman knows the offense and has performed well in spot duty before, so he should be productive if he forced to play a larger role in the coming weeks, but the injuries to Floyd and Johnson obviously need to be monitored closely.

Report: Chargers WR Jacoby Jones dealing with minor ankle sprain

Chargers wide receiver Jacoby Jones' Week 2 status is uncertain after suffering what is believed to be a minor ankle sprain in the Chargers' Week 1 win over the Lions, Ian Rapoport of reports. Should Jones miss any time, Branden Oliver and Keenan Allen are likely next in line to take over kickoff and punt return duties. Dontrelle Inman could also step up as San Diego's fourth receiver, behind Allen, Malcom Floyd, and Stevie Johnson. Jones' status will continue to be monitored, but it's unlikely to cause much of a Fantasy impact.

Chargers WR Dontrelle Inman catches seven passes Week 16

Chargers wide receiver Dontrelle Inman racked up seven receptions on nine targets for 79 yards in his team's 38-35 overtime win over the 49ers in Week 16. The coaches opened the second half with Inman in the lineup and the team down 28-7, and the little-used receiver was able to reward the gamble with an excellent half of football, picking up all his receptions in the second half. It was the first time this season Inman had even seen a target in a game, but he was able to pick up three first downs, including one on a crucial fourth-and-10 with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter and his team down seven points. The Chargers tied the game two plays later before winning in overtime. Inman may have earned himself a significant role in his team's Week 17 matchup with the Chiefs, especially if Keenan Allen is unable to return to action.

Chargers list Week 14 inactives vs. Patriots

The Chargers have rulled the following players as inactive for Sunday night's Week 14 matchup with the Patriots: nose tackles Ryan Carrethers (elbow) and Damion Square, running back Ronnie Brown, wide receiver Dontrelle Inman, guard Jeff Baca, tight end David Johnson and linebacker Cordarro Law. Carrethers had already been ruled out for Sunday's game so his absence won't be unexpected. The team does have all three of its questionable players available for action, as linebacker Donald Butler (quad) and offensive linemen D.J. Fluker (concussion) and Chris Watt (calf) are active. Also active are all the team's probable players, including quarterback Philip Rivers (chest), defensive tackle Corey Liuget (knee) and linebacker Andrew Gachkar (knee).
