Chiefs' Allen Bailey: Ruled out for Sunday

Bailey (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Bills. Considering Bailey didn't practice at all this week, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he will skip another game Sunday. This week marks his third straight absence, and the combo of Jaye Howard and Dontari Poe will likely anchor the middle and the defensive end spot left vacant by Bailey.

Chiefs' Allen Bailey: Out for Sunday

Bailey (calf) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Chargers. Bailey will be sidelined once again due to his calf injury, leaving the Chiefs defense without a notable presence up front. However, given the Chargers' patchwork starting offense, Sunday's matchup still seems favorable for Kansas City's defense.

Chiefs' Allen Bailey: Ruled out this week

Bailey (calf) is out for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Through the Chiefs' first eight games, Bailey has carved out some IDP utility, with 31 tackles, 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. We'll update his status again as the team's Week 11 contest against the Chargers approaches.

Chiefs' Allen Bailey: Doubtful for Sunday

Bailey (calf) did not practice Friday. Bailey's status is trending in the wrong direction ahead of Sunday's game versus the Broncos. Although the Chiefs' front-seven is relatively well-stocked, Bailey's absence would still leave Kansas City without a starting defensive end Sunday.

Chiefs DE Allen Bailey collects two sacks in season opener

Chiefs DE Allen Bailey collected two sacks and four tackles (three solo) in Sunday's game against the Texans. Bailey finished 2014 with career-highs in tackles (41) and sacks (five), and he's certainly off to a good start in 2015. He'll look to keep things going in Week 2 when the Chiefs square off with a division rival in the Broncos.
