Jets' Chris Ivory: Posts 45 yards in Week 11

Ivory carried the ball eight times for 36 yards while catching one pass for 9 yards Sunday against the Texans. The Jets fell way behind in the second half of the game, causing Ivory to see fewer than 14 carries for the first time this season. Also, with Bilal Powell back in action, Ivory saw very little of the third down work. After rushing for fewer than 2.5 yards per carry in three straight weeks, he now has posted at least 4.5 in each of his last two games. furthermore, he's now posted fewer than 53 total yards in four of his last five games.

Jets' Chris Ivory: Scores two touchdowns

Ivory (hamstring) rushed 23 times for 26 yards and scored two touchdowns while catching all three of his pass targets for 22 yards Sunday against the Jaguars. Ivory had very little room to run and was unable to gain more than nine yards on any of his rushing attempts. Despite his ineffectiveness, the Jets tried to use him to grind out the clock late in the contest, but he forced the team to lean on the arm of Ryan Fitzpatrick to earn the victory. However, Ivory did salvage his fantasy day by scoring on a pair of short touchdown runs.

Jets' Chris Ivory: Held in check at Oakland

Ivory (hamstring) ran 15 times for just 17 yards and caught 3-of-5 targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 34-20 loss at Oakland. Ivory got stuffed at the goal line on one particular run in the fourth quarter, and was held in check in general by a surprisingly stingy Raiders' rush defense. In fact, he had six separate runs that went for negative yardage. On a positive note, with pass-catching RB Bilal Powell (ankle) still not healthy, Ivory has been relatively productive as a pass catcher the last three games, grabbing 8-of-10 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown. Expect better production on the ground next week at home against the Jaguars.

Jets' Chris Ivory: Listed as active Sunday

Ivory (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Raiders. As expected, Ivory is a go Sunday and set to head the Jets' Week 8 rushing attack, with Zac Stacy and (recently activated) Stevan Ridley on hand to serve in backup/complementary roles Sunday.

Jets' Chris Ivory: Probable for Week 8

Ivory (hamstring) practiced fully all week and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Ivory, who dealt with a tight hamstring in Week 7, indicated earlier this week that he was past the issue, which is supported by both his practice participation level and official injury designation. With Bilal Powell out this week, the Jets activated Stevan Ridley from the PUP list to bolster the team's backfield depth (to go along with Zac Stacy) behind Ivory.

Jets RB Stevan Ridley could be activated soon

Though Todd Bowles indicates that Jets running back Stevan Ridley (knee) is healthy enough to play, a determination has yet be made whether the running back will be removed from the PUP list in advance of Sunday against Oakland, per It wouldn't be be a great surprise to see Ridley get the green light with Bilal Powell still dealing with an ankle issue. Once Ridley is introduced to the backfield mix, he'd be in line to work behind Chris Ivory.

Jets RB Chris Ivory dealing with hamstring tightness

Todd Bowles relayed Monday that Jets featured back Chris Ivory is dealing with a tight hamstring. Ivory was able to play through its Sunday against New England, but it looks like his practice participation in advance of Week 8 against Oakland could be affected by the issue.

Jets RB Chris Ivory plays through hamstring injury

Jets featured back Chris Ivory tweaked his left hamstring on his first carry Sunday against the Patriots, reports. He played through the issue, rushing 17 times for 41 yards and catching two passes on two targets for 12 receiving yards and a touchdown. Ivory was clearly limited by the injury, failing to show any of the explosiveness he's exhibited throughout the season.

Jets' Chris Ivory: 196 total yards in win

Ivory rushed 20 times for 146 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes on three targets for 50 receiving yards Sunday against Washington. Ivory has been absolutely dominant in the last two games, rushing for a combined 312 yards and two touchdowns over that span. He is now third in the NFL in rushing yards, trailing Matt Forte (507) and Devonta Freeman (505), and the Jets will hope that they can use him heavily in Week 7 against the Patriots.

Jets RB Chris Ivory active for Week 4 showdown vs. Miami

Jets running back Chris Ivory (quad) is active Sunday against the Dolphins. Ivory was active for last week's game against the Eagles as well, but he never took the field. However, he's a "full go," according to coach Todd Bowles. Ivory is fully expected to get a majority of the backfield touches Sunday, though Bilal Powell has played well enough to keep getting a few of his own.
