Raiders' Lee Smith: Active for Sunday

Smith (wrist) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans. Smith missed last week's game against the Lions due to the wrist injury, marking the first time he's sat out all season. Although he'll be available Sunday, Smith won't see much activity as a receiver. He's yet to see more than two targets in any game this season.

Raiders' Lee Smith: Expected to play

Smith (wrist) is listed as probable for Sunday's game in Tennessee. A full participant throughout the week of practice, Smith doesn't seem to be in any danger of missing Sunday's game. He's mostly used as a blocker and only has 10 targets in nine games.

Raiders' Lee Smith: Inactive at Detroit

Smith (wrist) is officially inactive for Sunday's game at Detroit. Smith is not much of a factor in the passing game, so this is not a major loss in fantasy terms.

Raiders' Lee Smith: Hauls in two passes

Smith caught both of his targets for one yards in Sunday's win over the Chargers. Smith is considered more of the blocking tight end for the Raiders, but he hauled in two passes in this contest. Smith will continue to split time with Clive Walford and Mychal Rivera, and he doesn't represent much in terms of a fantasy option.

Raiders officially sign DT Dan Williams, TE Lee Smith

The Raiders announced the signings of defensive tackle Dan Williams and tight end Lee Smith on Wednesday. Williams spent the previous five years with the Cardinals, where he started 40 of the 70 games he played in. Williams totaled 116 tackles and two sacks. He recorded a single-season best 45 tackles a year ago. Smith spent the past four seasons with the Bills and is predominantly a blocking tight end. He was originally drafted by the Patriots in the fifth round in 2011 before being placed on waivers — which is how the Bills acquired him.

Sammy Watkins keys high-powered Bills air attack in Week 8 win

Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins caught three passes for a team-high 157 yards and one touchdown while receiving six targets in his team's 43-23 win over the Jets in Week 8. Watkins could have had two touchdowns on the day, but he appeared to slow down while close to the end zone on a huge play and was caught from behind on what would have been an 89-yard score. Still, even though quarterback Kyle Orton completed just 10 passes in the blowout win, Watkins was able to deliver a big line on the strength of the 84-yard play and a 61-yard fourth-quarter catch. He's up to 38 receptions, 590 yards and five touchdowns in eight games. Several other Bills were able to reach paydirt as well in the win, with Robert Woods catching three passes for 50 yards and a touchdown, tight end Scott Chandler scoring a 12-yard touchdown on his only reception and tight end Lee Smith managing two catches for five yards and a score. The Bills head into a Week 9 bye with a 5-3 record before facing the Chiefs in Week 10.
