    Seahawks list inactives for Divisional Round

    The Seahawks have listed Marcus Burley, Landon Cohen, Lemuel Jeanpierre, Jeron Johnson, Keavon Milton, Tony Moeaki, and Kevin Norwood as inactive for the team's Divisional Round game against the Panthers. Johnson was the only player who was ruled out prior to the contest. Moeaki came into the game listed as questionable due to a calf injury. The other five players are healthy inactives.

    Seahawks sign DT Landon Cohen

    The Seahawks signed free agent defensive tackle Landon Cohen to the active roster. Cohen has played in 40 games over six seasons, making 46 tackles. He was cut by the Bills right before the season.

    Quarterback, punter headline Friday cuts by Bills

    Quarterback Jordan Palmer and veteran punter Brian Moorman are the two most significant cuts announced by the Bills on Friday. Palmer was let go three days after his signing. He had been cut by Chicago on Tuesday. He has only played in five regular season games in five years. Moorman has been booting for the Bills as the No. 1 punter 2001, aside from one season with Dallas. The other cuts are linebacker Xavius Boyd, defensive tackle Landon Cohen, tight end Dominique Jones, cornerbacks Kamaal McIlwain and Sam Miller, fullback Evan Rodriguez, wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt and center Jared Wheeler.

    Bills make roster moves

    The Bills have re-signed receiver Naaman Roosevelt and added defensive tackle Landon Cohen , releasing veteran Ramses Barden in the process.

    The Bears signed defensive lineman Landon Cohen Friday, to replace Henry Melton on the active roster. Melton was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury.

    Cowboys make roster moves

    The Cowboys released defensive tackle Landon Cohen and signed defensive tackle David Carter. Carter, who was cut by the Cardinals in the preseason, has played in 32 career games with four starts. Dallas also released wideout Danny Coale from its practice squad and signed wideout Jamar Newsome to the squad.

    The Eagles continued trimming their roster in preparation for the regular season Friday and released the following players: defensive backs Phillip Thomas, Joselio Hanson and Oshiomogho Atogwe; tight ends Emil Igwenagu, Chase Ford and Brett Brackett; linebackers Ryan Rau, Adrian Moten and Keenan Clayton; wide receivers Mardy Gilyard, Marvin McNutt and Chad Hall; and defensive linemen Ollie Ogbu, Landon Cohen, Monte Taylor and Frank Trotter.
