49ers' Tramaine Brock: Picks off third pass of season

Brock collected three tackles (all solo) and his third interception of the season Thursday. Brock was the only 49er to play all 72 snaps on defense. He is clearly the lead corner for San Francisco, and he leads all of his teammates with three interceptions on the year.

49ers' Tramaine Brock: Records season-high eight tackles and a pick

Brock rounded up a season-high eight tackles (six solo) along with his second pick of the season in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Brock has never recorded more than 37 tackles in a season, and he is well on pace to surpass that number if he can stay healthy this year. He is also on pace to surpass his career-high of five picks, which was set in 2013. Brock has been the 49ers' best corner this season.

49ers CB Tramaine Brock nets seven tackles in Week 3

49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock recorded seven tackles (six solo) in Sunday's blowout loss to the Cardinals. If the high tackle total seems like an anomaly, you would be correct. Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald were terrorizing the 49ers' secondary, and they were forced to stop the Cardinals' receivers frequently after big gains. With 12 tackles and an interception, Brock has been putting up decent corner stats.
