CB Davon House looking to find a starting job in free agency

Impending free-agent cornerback Davon House has made finding a starting job in 2015 a top priority when he hits free agency in March, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. "I don't like the role just playing special teams, especially when I know I can contribute," House said. "(When) things are going tough out there and I get in the game or momentum swings, I play extremely well against good teams and it sucks that I'm just on special teams. I know I can play. I truly believe the film says I can play in this league. If my film doesn't show it, I don't mind playing special teams. But I think my film shows I'm a starter." House also said his agent is scheduled to meet with the Packers at next week's scouting combine to discuss contract negotiations. The Packers have until March 10 to resign House before he reaches unrestricted free agency. House played 411 snaps on defense in 2014, per Pro Football Focus, grading out negatively in run defense but positively in pass coverage.
