    Bengals make eight more moves to get to 75

    In addition to the moves the Bengals made Monday, most notably releasing receiver Denarius Moore, the team cut seven more players to get down to the 75-man limit, per The team released WR Desmond Lawrence, LB Nico Johnson, DT Kwame Geathers, DE Sam Montgomery, OG Chris Jasperse, TE John Peters and WR Tevin Reese. The team put FB Mark Weisman and WR Onterio McCalebb on the waived/injured list, LB Sean Porter on the reserve/PUP list and OT Cedric Ogbuehi on the reserve/non-football injury list.

    Bengals make fury of roster moves Tuesday

    The Bengals announced a variety of roster moves Tuesday. The team placed the following players on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list: linebacker Vontaze Burfict, defensive end Margus Hunt and linebacker Sean Porter. Offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi was placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury list, while wide receiver James Wright was waived under the Injured category.

    Bengals believe LB Sean Porter tore ACL on first pro play

    Bengals linebacker Sean Porter is believed to have torn his ACL on the first snap of his NFL career, reports the team's website. The 2013 third-round pick missed his entire rookie year with a shoulder injury, then suffered a hamstring injury this preseason. When he finally made his NFL debut Sunday night at New England, Porter got hurt on the opening kickoff. It was a non-contact injury that had him on crutches and in a full-length cast Monday, the website said.

    The Bengals have ruled out wide receiver Marvin Jones for the Sunday game against Tennessee with a foot injury that has prevented him from playing in either of the first two games. He is the lone certain scratch listed on the Friday injury report. Several players have been deemed doubtful, however, including linebacker Vontaze Burfict (concussion), running back Rex Burkhead (knee), linebacker Sean Porter (hamstring), defensive tackle Brandon Thompson (knee) and guard Kevin Zeitler (calf).
