Browns' Jordan Poyer: Has 11 tackles in loss to Rams

Poyer had 11 total tackles and a stuff in Cleveland's Sunday loss to the Rams. The third-year corner filled in for an injured Tashaun Gipson, proving his worth with five solo tackles and six assisted tackles on the day. Despite the solid performance, the reserve has yet to prove himself as a starter in the Browns' defense, meaning that he will most likely not be a strong fantasy option just yet.

Browns FS Jordan Poyer starting in place of Tashaun Gipson

Browns safety Jordan Poyer will start Sunday afternoon against the Ravens, taking the place of Tashaun Gipson, who is listed as inactive due to an ankle injury. Poyer has worked his way on to the field for 20-plus snaps in three straight weeks. He should see significantly more time on the field this week, but whether or not it translates to an increase in Fantasy output remains to be seen.
