    Browns place eight probables on Friday injury report

    The Browns list a whopping 16 players on their Friday injury report, but half are probable for the Week 17 battle in Pittsburgh, including All-Pro tackle Joe Thomas (back). The other offensive players among them are running back Willis McGahee (knee) and tackle Mitchell Schwartz (toe). The four defensive probables are linebackers Paul Kruger (illness) and Tank Carder (shoulder), safety Jordan Poyer (toe) and safety T.J. Ward (shoulder, illness). Punter Spencer Lanning (knee) is also probable.

    The Browns claimed rookie cornerback Jordan Poyer off waivers from the Eagles, reports Birds 24/7. Poyer was Philly's seventh-round pick out of Oregon State.

    Eagles make minor roster moves

    The Eagles have signed running back Matthew Tucker from the practice squad and released cornerback Jordan Poyer on Saturday, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The moves came after the team downgraded RB Chris Polk to out for the Week 7 game against Dallas.

    Eagles have several healthy scratches

    The Philadelphia Eagles are fairly healthy heading into the Week 6 game Sunday at Tampa Bay. Almost all of the Eagles' listed inactive players are healthy scratches and are not dealing with any discernible injuries.
