    Redskins release final injury report for Week 17 against the Cowboys

    Redskins defensive end Jason Hatcher has missed practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Hatcher has missed Washington's last two games with a knee injury. Trent Williams (shoulder), Chris Baker (toe/elbow), Gabe Miller (ankle), Keenan Robinson (knee) and Stephen Bowen (ankle/illness) are all listed as questionable for the game. Robert Griffin III (shoulder), Bashaud Breeland (thigh), Barry Coefield (shoulder), Tom Compton (knee), Will Compton (shoulder), Jackson Jeffcoat (calf), Kory Lichtensteiger (stinger) and Darrel Young (ankle) are all considered probable. The Redskins are currently 5 1/2-point underdogs at home against the Cowboys.

    Redskins FB Darrel Young scores twice in home win vs. Eagles

    Redskins fullback Darrel Young only carried the ball twice, but capitalized on each occasion. Young scored twice from 1-yard out in the third quarter, leading his team to a 27-24 victory over Philadelphia in Week 16. He finished the game with two carries for 2 yards and two scores. He also caught one pass for 3 yards.

    Redskins get offensive contributions Week 8

    The Redskins got a slew of offensive contributions in Monday's overtime win at Dallas. Among them, running back Roy Helu ran five times for 29 yards and caught both his targets for 14 yards. Running back Silas Redd had a 5-yard rush. Tight end Niles Paul caught all three of his targets for 27 yards, and fullback Darrel Young had a 12-yard catch. Wideout Andre Roberts secured just one of his five targets for 11 yards. They'll all visit the Vikings in Week 9.

    Washington's backup runners fail to do much Thursday

    Washington 's backup runners failed to see much action Thursday against the Giants. Roy Helu only received two carries, picking up 8 yards on the ground. He actually led the team in receiving yards, gaining 78 yards on five receptions. With the team down by quite a bit, Helu became a safe option in the passing game. Fullback Darrel Young had one carry, picking up 1 yard. Both players will look for more Week 5 against the Seahawks.

    Darrel Young leaves with undisclosed injury

    Redskins running back Darrel Young made an impact in Week 2 against the Jaguars, before he was forced to leave the 41-10 win with an undisclosed injury. Young was responsible for a few of the bigger plays in the game, as he picked up 19 yards on his lone run and hauled in two passes for 27 yards. His biggest contribution came on a first-quarter touchdown, as he lined up out wide and scored on a 20-yard reception. Unfortunately, Young was the recipient of a late hit on a fourth-quarter reception that forced him from the game. The extent and nature of the injury was not revealed by the team.

    Darrel Young tallies fifth career rushing TD Week 1

    Redskins fullback Darrel Young received just one carry Week 1 at Houston, but he made it count, as his 1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter were the only points Washington would tally in a 17-6 loss. It was the fifth rushing touchdown of Young's career. He also had 1-yard catch in the loss. The Redskins host the Jaguars Week 2.
