Rams' Brian Quick: A season to forget

Quick finished off his 2015 campaign with two catches for 23 yards in a 19-16 overtime loss to San Francisco on Sunday. It was a very strange season for Quick, who was proclaimed healthy to start the year but didn't play until October. He never seemed himself, however, as he caught only 10 of his 32 targets for 102 yards, and one-third of those yards came on a single catch against the Bears on Nov. 15. Perhaps an offseason of rest could help Quick return to his 2014 form, but considering his shoulder injury was called career-threatening at one point, he may not be the same player again.

Rams' Brian Quick: Catches one of six targets

Quick caught a single pass for 14 yards in a 27-3 pasting at the hands of the Cardinals on Sunday. Quick has seen a bunch of targets the last few weeks, averaging more than five, but hasn't been able to corral many of them. He only has one game this season with more than a catch and has completely fallen off the fantasy map.

Rams' Brian Quick: Catches two passes against the Bengals

Quick snagged two passes off of five targets for eight yards in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. Sunday was Quick's first multi-catch game of the season. The fourth-year receiver has seen 12 of his 20 targets this season come in the past three games with Stedman Bailey out of the lineup. Quick is currently fighting with Wes Welker and Bradley Marquez for catches behind starters Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin. Considering the Rams' options at quarterback, it's very unlikely that the battle will bear much fantasy fruit.

Rams' Brian Quick: Makes single catch in loss Sunday

Quick tallied one catch for 37 yards in a 37-13 loss to Chicago on Sunday. While the number of receptions aren't encouraging, at least the targets are as Quick was thrown to seven times. It looks like the Rams are finally trying to get Quick back involved in the offense, and although it didn't work out well on Sunday, perhaps that bodes better for Quick in the future.

Rams' Brian Quick: One catch for negative yardage

Quick's one catch in Sunday's 21-18 overtime loss to Minnesota went for minus-1 yards. Quick has become an afterthought in the St. Louis offense, tallying three catches for 14 yards on the season.

Rams' Brian Quick: Catches one pass in victory

Quick made one reception for five yards in Sunday's 27-6 victory against San Francisco. Quick has not been able to get anything going in the offense this season, tallying only two catches for 15 yards. The dynamic start to last season seems to be a fluke at this point, as Quick has been healthy for weeks but still can't seem to connect with quarterback Nick Foles.

Rams' Brian Quick: Quiet season debut versus Packers

Quick made his season debut Sunday against the Packers, hauling in just one of his three targets for 10 yards. The fourth-year wideout was limited in his first game action since Week 7 of last season, but he was not visibly hampered by his surgically-repaired shoulder. Quick, who led the Rams in most receiving categories before he was injured last season, should provide quarterback Nick Foles with a bigger target that the receiving corps lacked through the first part of the season. Quick will use the upcoming bye week to reach closer to full health, and the Rams will then host the Browns in Week 7.

Rams WR Brian Quick not targeted in Week 4 win over Cardinals

Rams wide receiver Brian Quick was held without a target in Sunday's 24-22 win against Arizona. Quick's start to the season has been baffling, to say the least. It seemed like Quick should have been the No. 1 wideout on the Rams coming into the season, and he has only been active once despite being fully healthy and played in only six plays Sunday. Those that drafted him have almost certainly dropped him by now, and there's little reason to hope that things will get better at this point.

Rams WR Kenny Britt fine for game against Cardinals

Rams veteran wideout Kenny Britt (shoulder) is active for the game Sunday at Arizona. Nick Foles has spread the wealth this season, and Britt will have even more competition for targets with Brian Quick making his season debut. With a tough Cardinals defense on tap - they've given up only 27 catches for 340 yards and two touchdowns on 52 targets to wide receivers this season - Britt will have even greater difficulty making an impact in Week 4.

Rams WR Brian Quick continues to be healthy scratch

Rams wide receiver Brian Quick is inactive Sunday against the Steelers, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner. Rams coach Jeff Fisher noted Friday that Quick is in much better shape than he was a few weeks ago, but he's apparently still not fit enough for active status. The Rams have a number of available receiving options, so the absence of Quick doesn't necessarily open up lots of targets for one or two players.
