Ravens' Brent Urban: Cleared to return

Urban (biceps) has been cleared to return to practice. Urban landed on the Ravens' injured reserve/designated to return list after tearing his biceps during training camp, which followed a torn ACL that caused him to miss all of his rookie campaign last year. Now healthy after being sidelined for half of this season, Urban has been given the green light to return to practice this week, although it's unclear if he'll be ready to play already this Sunday against the Jaguars. Whenever Urban is fit to play, he figures to add valuable depth to the Ravens' defensive front.

Ravens DE Brent Urban participates in Wednesday's OTA

After suffering a season-ending knee injury last season, Ravens defensive end Brent Urban was able to participate in the team's OTA session Wednesday, reports During Wednesday's session, Urban was working with the starters when he got a little too close to quarterback Joe Flacco during a pass rushing drill. After celebrating the play, coach John Harbaugh sent Urban to the sidelines to contemplate what he had done, reports The Baltimore Sun. "It was Brent's second time, so he was sent to his room for a couple of plays," Harbaugh said. "But we do like to keep our guys away from the quarterback. He was a little too close, and then he was celebrating. That's what sent me over the edge. It's like, 'Do you not understand what we're doing here?'"
