    Seahawks place DT Jordan Hill on injured reserve

    The Seahawks announced a several of roster moves on Tuesday, according to the Everett Herald. The team placed defensive tackle Jordan Hill on injured reserve with a calf injury. In a corresponding move, Seattle signed defensive back Steven Terrell off the practice squad to fill Hill's roster spot. Defensive tackle Jimmy Staten was also signed to the practice squad. Hill played in 13 games, recording 19 tackles, 5.5 sacks and an interception.

    Seahawks DT Jordan Hill has severe calf pull

    Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said second-year defensive tackle Jordan Hill suffered a severe calf pull over the weekend and is "not going to make it" for Saturday's divisional playoff game against the Panthers, reports 710 ESPN Radio. Hill played in 13 games, recording 19 tackles, 5.5 sacks and an interception.

    Seahawks' Jordan Hill will not return Week 17

    Seahawks defensive tackle Jordan Hill will not return Week 17 against the Rams. Hill is dealing with a left knee injury. He was removed from the contest, and looked at by trainers on the sideline before the decision was made. Hill was credited with one tackle and half of a sack before leaving the game. After the game, the team announced Hill is dealing with a knee sprain.

    Report: Seahawks NT Brandon Mebane out for the year

    Seahawks starting nose tackle Brandon Mebane has a torn hamstring and is out for the season, reports Fox Sports. Mebane got hurt in Sunday's win over the Giants, with coach Pete Carroll saying Monday that Mebane would be out for "a while." The devastating blow means Seattle will give increased snaps to six-time Pro Bowler Kevin Williams and second-year pro Jordan Hill.

    Marshawn Lynch, Doug Baldwin will be active Week 10

    Seahawks offensive stars Marshawn Lynch and Doug Baldwin are active Week 10 against the Giants. Both players came into the game listed as probable. Lynch is dealing with a calf injury. Baldwin has a groin issue. The team will also have Michael Bennett, Jordan Hill, Russell Okung, O'Brien Schofield and Max Unger. All five players were also listed as probable coming into the contest. Marcus Burley and Byron Maxwell should play as well. They were both listed as questionable. Burley is dealing with a hamstring injury, Maxwell has a calf issue. Guard Stephen Schilling is the only doubtful player who is active for the game.

    Seahawks unveil lengthy injury list for Week 10

    The Seahawks have ruled out Zach Miller (ankle) and Bobby Wagner (toe) for Week 10 against the Giants. James Carpenter (ankle), Stephen Schilling (knee), Kam Chancellor (groin) and Malcolm Smith (groin) all missed practice Friday and were deemed doubtful for Sunday. Marcus Burley (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice, while Byron Maxwell (calf) was a full participant Friday. Both were deemed questionable. The following players were labeled probable: Russell Okung (calf), Doug Baldwin (groin), Max Unger (rest), O'Brien Schofield (head), Michael Bennett (toe), Marshawn Lynch (calf) and Jordan Hill (ankle).

    Seahawks expecting 'six, seven' injured players back Week 10

    Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said on his weekly Monday radio show on ESPN 710 Seattle he expects "six, seven" players that sat out Week 9 vs. Oakland to return Week 10 against the Giants. Carroll is anticipating Max Unger, Jeremy Lane and Jordan Hill to be back Sunday. He also added Kam Chancellor and Russell Okung should be back after suffering muscle strains in practice last week. Lastly, Carroll said Byron Maxwell "might" make it back for Week 10, but tight end Zach Miller will not play. It will be the sixth straight game Miller will miss since undergoing ankle surgery in late September.

    Seahawks issue inactives for Week 9

    The Seahawks have listed S Jeron Johnson, CB Byron Maxwell, LB Malcolm Smith, LB Bobby Wagner, LT Russell Okung, TE Zach Miller and DT Jordan Hill as inactive Week 9 against the Raiders. Okung came into the game questionable due to a calf injury. He will not play. The other six players listed were ruled out prior to Sunday.

    The Seahawks have listed LB Bobby Wagner, TE Zach Miller , CB Byron Maxwell, OL Max Unger, DT Jordan Hill, WR Bryan Walters and OL Andrew McDonald as inactive Week 8 against the Panthers. McDonald is the only player on the list that wasn't ruled out prior to Sunday. He appears to be a healthy scratch.
