Broncos' Chris Harris: Slated to play Sunday

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Harris will play through his shoulder injury Sunday against the Patriots. Per the report, Harris is dealing with a deep-tissue shoulder bruise. While the issue -- which is described as "not insignificant" -- is not expected to require offseason surgery, it's the sort of ailment that causes Harris pain while engaging in such daily activities as brushing his teeth. In any case, Harris' availability -- albeit at less than full strength -- will be a plus for the Broncos defense on Sunday, as the team's secondary tries to contain New England's Tom Brady-led offense.

That being said, if Harris is limited at all Sunday, fellow cornerback Bradley Roby's hip injury suffered in practice Friday creates another unwanted concern for the Broncos' secondary, so their collective health may be worthwhile to monitor this weekend.
