Calf keeps Jets CB Walls guessing about Week 12 status

Jets cornerback Darrin Walls remains unsure if his ailing calf will allow him to play in Week 12, when his team comes off its bye week to play Buffalo. He has missed the last two games with the injury sustained, ironically, against the Bills on Oct. 26. The Jets can certainly use him. They lead the NFL with 25 touchdown passes allowed and are tied for last with just three interceptions despite snagging two Sunday against Pittsburgh. Walls, who told NJ.com that the injury was more severe than he first anticipated, updated his current status. "Right now, it's day-to-day," he said. "...It should be better with this time off. With the extra week, that's always a help. Hopefully, I'll be ready for Buffalo."
