Browns' Armonty Bryant: Arrested Friday, will be inactive Sunday

Bryant was arrested at a traffic stop Friday morning and will be inactive for Sunday's game while tending to that legal matter. Bryant has registered career highs in tackles, sacks, and forced fumbles this season, so it's an unfortunate turn of fortune as the Browns take on the Chiefs. It remains to be seen if he receives any further discipline from his team or the league.

Browns' Armonty Bryant: Season-best seven tackles Sunday

Bryant collected seven solo tackles and two quarterback sacks in Sunday's victory over the 49ers. Bryant logged his best statistical performance of the season, getting to the quarterback for the first time since Week 5. Despite the strong performance, the inconsistency makes him tough to rely on as an IDP.

Browns' Armonty Bryant: Collects team's only sack

Bryant had five combined tackles (two solo), two tackles for loss and one sack in Sunday's win over the Ravens. Bryant saw an uptick in snaps Sunday, partially due to the fact that fellow linebacker Scott Solomon had to exit the game early with a knee injury. If Solomon has to miss time, Bryant could provide some sneaky IDP utility as one of the top outside linebackers on the depth chart. Outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo hardly saw the field Sunday, while Paul Kruger was limited primarily to passing downs.
